The Great Vic Bike Ride 2011.
WOW Barham and the Bike Ride
We had thousands of Bikes, Riders, Volunteers, Guests and Crew visit Barham, The Barham Recreation ground had tent city, and by all reports the surrounds were immaculate and the grass, second to none- was lovely to set up on.
We had so much Fun, Loved every minute, took some great photo shots, we had loads to offer, the weather was a bit warm, so the Koondrook Pool sure got a real work out, The market in Riverside Park with beautiful shade near by, was well supported as was the local café’s, Bakery, Annie's Massage and general shopping area.
The great service provided by Lakes Coaches, Drivers, Dean, Greg and Darren, touring the towns and express to the pool .... thanks so much fellers.

A few activities that were also available were, the fly-wheelers museum, the bare foot bowls, Internet café at the High School and phone charging at the primary school, the Red gum carving and jumping castle, historical society, sawmill tours The beautiful oranges at the Bridge and the relaxing walk along the river.

The first time the GVBR ventured into NSW and we think with the comments made by the riders they were suitably impressed, perhaps this has started a trend.
So much to see and do in and around Barham and Koondrook, come back and enjoy our lovely towns on the Mighty Murray River..........

IF you want more .... Jeremy Lee of the ABC has a great write up about the 2011 Ride http://www.bv.com.au/general/great-rides/20004/
